About Melkonian Fine Foods
Melkonian Fine Foods started as a small family-owned business in the kitchen of owners, Geoff and Katie Melkonian, and Geoff’s sister, Wendy, in November of 2005. Their signature homemade breads quickly took Atlanta by storm, and in 2010, the first Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery opened its doors in Sandy Springs. Since then, Breadwinner has been serving lunch to thousands of hungry customers daily, often with lines out the door.
The success of the original Breadwinner spawned a new concept in 2016: Farm to Ladle, offering a unique twist on some of the original Breadwinner favorites, in an urban farmhouse cafe setting. Farm to Ladle locations were handpicked to be a part of two of the largest and most celebrated mixed-use developments in Atlanta: Ponce City Market in midtown and Avalon in Alpharetta. In addition to lunch, Farm to Ladle also serves breakfast and dinner, seven days a week. Additional plans for the restaurant group include the addition of an eclectic marketplace of prepared foods and to-go items at the flagship Sandy Springs Breadwinner location.
Melkonian Fine Foods also offers full-service catering in and around metro Atlanta, specializing in corporate catering of any size.
